The 10 Laws to Success

I'd like to share some of the things I have learned from a seminar I've attended over the weekend. This is a very empowering lesson, so read on.
The 10 Laws to success...adhere to this and your career will skyrocket to the top.

1. The Law of Attraction
  • simply states "like attracts like" or the power of the mind to attract anything it thinks about. Aren't you surprised when right now you are thinking of getting sick and finding out the next morning that you already got sick?
A quote from Buddha: "...the mind is powerful. What we think we become."
...having said that, why not think of getting rich?

2. The Law of Tithing
  • The Lord says "And this shall be the beginning of the tithing of my people. And after that, those who have thus been tithed shall pay one-tenth of all their interest annually; and this shall be a standing law unto them forever"

This actually means you have to give 10 per cent of your income to charity. Start early, for giving smaller is harder than giving bigger. Trust me. Oh, and by the way, give faithfully, meaning not holding grudges against it. So look for a charitable institution or a religious facility and start giving.

3. The Law of Giving
  • you've always heard in your life the phrase "it's better to give than to receive".
This is a two-way street. You give to receive, and vice versa. If you wish to receive something, give it first.

4. The Law of Cause and Effect
  • this law states that an "effect" comes from a specific "cause" or an occurence. In being successful, one has to learn the ways other people became such, and apply it to his everyday life

5. The Law of Forgiveness
  • this is the release of resentment towards other people. Try letting go of some things, especially the ones that give you negative energy, the greatest hindrance to success.

6. The Law of Gestation
  • this law sums up in one word, "timing". Timing is everything. Like everything happens for a reason, things do happen in the right time. Also, by knowing the right timing to things, this can help you succeed. Patience is the key - do not rush on things, or hope for things to happen in a snap. Likewise, too much delay in acting can lead to loss. Learn how to patiently wait, for the right timing must be met, just like clapping in a speech.

7. The Law of Polarity
  • there is always two sides in a coin. The main thought of this law is the presence of 2 points pointing in opposite directions. Good or bad, rich or poor, happy or sad, these are just some of the examples. The good thing about this law is that in whatever you choose, you will almost always end up in the positive side of things. You always hear the phrase "blessing in disguise". Remember the last time you've made a wrong move, a rather stupid decision, and eventually still end up with the better part of the bargain? This is the power of the law of polarity.

8. The Law of Rhythm
  • the classic explanation of the law of rhythm is what we know as the "law of gravity" which states "what goes up must come down". Although the law of gravity states only the going down part, this law may be explained more clearly by the phrase "life is like a wheel". Learn how to deal with the ups and downs life offers. Control of emotions is key here; you have to learn how to hold back in times. This will help a lot especially in times when you are down. Capitalize on wherever you are now, learn when you are down, savor the victory when you are up but not getting caught up too much.

9. The Law of Abundance
  • the name says it all. God made all things for us to use and maintain. Everything in life is abundant; all things are. Look at the sunshine, the ocean, even air. Even money. I've read before that trillions of trillions of money are circulating every single day. Knowledge is also abundant; this is what most people need in order to succeed. Maximizing this law will certainly change your life for the better.

10. The Law of Circulation
  • this is the law of both giving and receiving. The law states that everything in this life is circulating, flowing everywhere. Just as things on earth are abundant and we have to use it, we also have to give back things in order for the circulation to continue. Energy is also circulating - imagine having a depressed co-worker. This rubs off to the other workers, including you. The same thing is said when there is someone who just won the lottery. Everyone in his vicinity will be elated as well.
  • Receiving is as important as giving. We all heard the phrase "it is better to give than to receive", but a substantial amount of receiving must be met in order to fulfill the "giving" part. When you refuse to accept a gift given to you, you deprive the giver of his "giving" while you deprive yourself of the "receiving" end, ultimately breaking this law. Learn to give and receive equally to fulfill the law of circulation.

There you have it, the 10 laws to success. Are you ready to achieve success in your life?
