My View of the World: Singapore (part 2)

In this second part we are going to one of the best tourist attractions in Singapore. Be sure to include this in your itinerary!

If you missed part 1 of our travel, here it is. http://bit.ly/dQvrFg

Sentosa Island, Singapore

There are a lot of sites to visit here, and we will go there one by one.

Transportation in Sentosa is a breeze. There are buses that will take you back and forth the whole place, marked as Red Line and Blue Line, each having a specific route.

Our first stop is the Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon, home to a plethora of aquatic life. Also here is a short dolphin show which will really give the kids enjoyment. Unfortunately for me, I haven't seen the dugong; I think its having its day-off.

I'll just post some of the more interesting things I saw, I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

The Sea Angel (note its resemblance)

These guys surely know how to pose for the camera :)

Then we ride the bus going to Resorts World Sentosa. This is a big place, and many attractions to explore.

The "Fortune Bunny"

Immediately past the Fortune Bunny is Universal Studios Singapore. We spent almost a day walking here, and we all had a lot of fun.

A spot for photo shoots. Never leave without having your picture taken here.

Casa De WILD. The food here is great! A cute Filipina waitress works here (worth mentioning)

This is a jukebox from a 60's style restaurant, the one where you order Cherry Cokes.

Me and my tag-team partner Panda.

It was a tiring walk, but we still have two more places to go, and one of them is the Tiger Sky Tower.

The Tiger Sky Tower is also an observation tower, just like the Singapore Flyer where you can see the whole of Singapore, only this tower has a higher peak. I think Malaysia can be viewed from here, too.

The Resorts World Hotel

Our last stop for this Singapore trip is the home of the Merlion, the Merlion Walk and the Sentosa Park. The end of this trip will take you to Harbourtown Center via Cable Car Lift.

The Merlion's "mugshot"

The "Wishing Tree" where you place your wishes

A public service reminder for all rabbit lovers out there

The Rabbit Trail is a lush garden in itself. Perfect for couples.

The Hard Rock Hotel

Well there you have it, folks. A short walkthrough of where to go in Singapore. This is not a comprehensive one, as there are still many locations to explore. We just did not have all time to do it, though I think we have covered some of the best locations.

Thank you for joining me, and in our next segment we are going to the place they call "Truly Asia".
Stay tuned!
